Kavos Lichadas is the northernmost tip of Evia, literally at the “nose” of the island. It’s a peaceful, picturesque spot offering stunning views across to the Lichadonisia opposite — those small islets that evoke exotic landscapes, with daily boat excursions departing from here to explore them. The area is perfect for relaxation, natural beauty, and swimming away from the crowds.
The beach at Kavos Lichada is long, featuring pebbles and crystal-clear turquoise waters that remain shallow near the shore — ideal for families, children, or anyone wanting comfortable swimming without sudden drop-offs. This is one of the best places to enjoy a sunset, as the sun dips directly into the sea, with its colors reflecting on the calm waters and the Lichadonisia silhouetted on the horizon.
While not overly organized along its entire length (most sections remain natural and tranquil), there are tavernas and beach bars nestled among the trees, providing sunbeds, umbrellas, food, coffee, drinks, and service.
Access is straightforward by car (road right up to it, with nearby parking), about 6 km from Lichada village and roughly 25 minutes from Loutra Yialtron.
